I am just a mom trying to help her son out. He has created a skin in block bench. How can we import it into his game using the minecraft launcher for java? I appreciate all of your help. He is not allowed to play online, but would still like to customize his minecxraft experience.
First you need to export the skin from blockbench by going to the taskbar at the top of the blockbench menu for the skin, then clicking 'file' next 'export' and finally 'minecraft skin'
After that, you need to save the skin in a location that you will be able to access later.
Then you need to open up the minecraft launcher and click on the 'skins' tab from minecraft java edition. Finally, click 'new skin' and use the 'browse' button to find the skin file that you exported earlier. All you need to do after that is hit the 'save and use' button at the bottom of the screen and the skin will be loaded into the game next time your son plays.
I am probably making it sound more complicated than it really is, but let me know if you need me to clarify anything else.
"He is not allowed to play Minecraft online" I can understand that if he's really young, but just don't infantilize and control your teenagers
