Animated textures start frame (Question)

Im trying to make use of texture animations to make an explosion effect of sorts, but the animation starts at a seemingly random frame?

Is there any way to make it start from the first frame? I also notice that the entity if placed multiple times all sync their animations, which makes me assume the texture is run globally on a tick basis or something?

Is there any way to make this work or is this too complex for MCreator to handle without proper coding?
