Glow-berries Glowing on the Ceiling of a Biome

I wanna make a cave biome that has glow-berries grow from the ceiling with a max height. I know how to make a cave biome but i don't know how to make glow-berries grow off the ceiling. Also, can i make them glow on a custom block instead of just regular stone or do i have to make an entirely new plant?
