HELP with Costant moving player potion x and z axis

I'm tryng to create a potion effect that for the duration makes you costantly move in the direction you are moving, I managed to get it right half way, because while it forces the player to move it is also kind of chained to two invisible rails, only being able to move foward or backwards, I would gladly apretiate some help.

Also i'm tryng to make a melee attack that creates an hitbox in front of the player but this one also is kinda of chained to two rails so maybe these problems are related idk.
