Hi, forgive I don’t know MCreator. my 9 yr old son created content on my laptop. I subsequently replaced the hard drive and upgraded the OS to Windows 11. now he doesn’t recognise the MCreator screens and can’t find his work, where might it be? Thanks 🙏m

Hey there! It's awesome that your 9 year old son is getting into MCreator! If you replaced the hard drive and had no other hard drives on the computer, it's likely that your son's projects are still on that old hard drive. If they are, they should be in the folder of
C:\Users\(yourUser)\MCreatorWorkspaces 
(you can access this by just typing that into the windows search bar, replacing (yourUser) with whatever the computer's username is.)

From there, you should be able to bring the old workspaces back from the old drive by moving them to the new one (using a USB stick or something like that) and then clicking "Open workspace" at the MCreator start-up page when you open the app, then finding the files and selecting them.

I'd recommend checking the same folder on your new drive first as replacing a hard drive several times can definitely be a hassle. I hope this helped in some way!
