Topic category: Feature requests and ideas for MCreator
in future versions like 2.0 we should have biome landscape templates to determine the landscape generation of custom biomes
some examples of landscape type generation templates we should have available
- plains
- hills
- valley
- mountain
- alps (very high smooth mountains)
- mountain chain (chain of mountains)
- volcano (mountain with crater in top, crater may contain lava)
- cliff (area of land that increases in height and suddenly drops off like the cliffs of dover)
- arches (mesa like landscape with a lot of arches similar to arches national park)
- mesa
- badlands (landscape like the real life badlands in the western United States)
- canyon (similar to a ravine but biome sized)
- island
- archipelago (chain of islands)
- swamp
- lake (large body of water)
- ocean
- river
- levitating island (big mountain sized island floating high in the sky)
- crater (a big biome sized hole in the ground without water, could be used to create a quarry)
- "panama rocks" (area of land with large amount of big rocks on surface
- spikes / stone forest (very rough high spiky terrain like what is found in stone forests)
and also we need something that will change this line of code below too to determine biome tags
BiomeDictionary.addTypes(biome, BiomeDictionary.Type.HILLS);
the known biome tag values for this line of code that work in 1.12 are
FOREST, PLAINS, MOUNTAIN, HILLS, SWAMP, RIVER, OCEAN, WATER, HOT, DRY, DESERT, SNOWY, COLD, SANDY, JUNGLE, WASTELAND, DENSE, BEACH, NETHER, END, MUSHROOM, MAGICAL
I agree
I think that this would be a great idea. I hope they add it, it would be super helpful.
