How do you make a Single-Slot-Chest in Mcreator 1.8.2?

Hi, I wanted to make a Chest with just one Slot in the middle where you can put items in and out and it should stay there if you leave the gui

I looked at some tutorials and other forum Topics but they all were for much earlier versions with Events and such.

I linked the Block with the gui and enabled inventory on it.

However the problem is that in the gui Editor there is only an Input- and Output-Slot. I tried both but with Input-Slot if i put an item in and leave the gui and open it again the item just dissapeares and with Output-Slot I cant put an item in even not with hopper.

If you have a way to fix this please help.

Thanks.

Did you select inherited inventory for the slots? You can open a support ticket and attach the workspace if you don't find a fix.
