How to make custom block replace all ores in world generation

Hey, hope everyone is having a lovely day. I recently started work on a mod and for the basis of it, I would like it to replace all natural ore generation with this custom block leaving none behind. How would I go about doing that, since nothing I have thought of works. :/

Cheers for any help!

i know how to:

     - go to your block that contains an ore.

     - then go to the world generator, then put it as: "overworld" for world spawning.

     - then try it.

but replacing vanilla ores? there's only one way: replacing all the ores by using current white lists and make sure it's 32 avarage spawning per chunk and 32 average group spawn.
