Weird head glitch

So I was trying to make a biped mob. I used the zombie texture as a base and made the texture. However, when I run it, the torso and legs are there, with the exact textures they are supposed to have, but the head is just some white cube instead of the actual head. Is anyone else having this problem, or is it just something on my end? Pls help

Is the background of your entity white? If so, then there's your problem. Zombies and Bipeds (players) have a "hat" layer that can be drawn into the texture. If you don't draw the hat layer, then it will just use whatever your background is. Since it's white, it just draws white all over the mobs head.

The solution to this is to make the background transparent using a painting tool that supports transparency like paint.net.
