hey,
i made a new dimension in my mod that for the time being only has 1 biome and basically i set it so that my mob wich is called a curse can only spawn in that biome, i set the spawn weight to 10 wich i hear is not very much and the dimension is still filled to the brim with these mobs and i tried setting the weight to 1 even but that didn't fix anything
any help would be appreciated thanks!!
Change the type of spawning probably you put it in ambient creature
It could also be that the lack of other more common creatures makes them attempt to spawn every tick
I am having the same problem. I wanted enderman and phantoms to spawn, but over 6000 entites spawned in less than 5 minutes!
same problem, mine only has a spawn rate of 3, and its a hostile type, yet about 100-300 spawn EVERY second
I have this same issue. I've also had it before, and the only way I could get them to spawn LESS was to just disable spawning. My spawn rate is at 1, and my creature type is ambient, as I want it to spawn in daylight and on the surface.
I've also tried to introduce some kind of delay timer that I saw on another post, but the instructions aren't really clear on how the video they sent in the post relates to entity spawning, so I have no idea what I'm doing with it and it clearly doesn't work.
