Topic category: Help with MCreator software
After uninstalling Mcreator 2020.4 I am failing to install 2020.5. A short way into the process it gives me an error message, but clicking "Ignore" leads to an endless stream of constant errors after a short while because the installer is attempting to put files into the folder that it tried to generate in the first error message. I don't know how to add a screenshot to tis :(
sounds like you still have 2020.4 files on the folder and it won't copy them over, has happened to be before, if it's the same problem as me, delete you 2020.4 folder (after uninstall and computer restart, and your Gradle folder.. should install good then.. If not, I got nothing.
What if I moved the 2020.4 Mcreator folders to a different location? Would that work? also I noticed the file saying it had an error generating blahblah/blah/java/bin
