Fabric Generator Installation Issues

So yesterday my friend was telling me about MCreator , and I thought it sounded cool, so I downloaded it. I quickly found out that to make a Fabric mod, you need to install a plugin. I successfully downloaded the Fabric Generator plugin, as well as the Cloth Commons plugin so I could make 1.16 mods. After launching MCreator, I went to settings to install both plugins, but after selecting both files, only Cloth Commons had actually installed. Any ideas? Also, if there isn't a ready solution, that's fine, I'm happy to use Forge, but it might be nice to make mods for Fabric!
