Topic category: Feature requests and ideas for MCreator
Whenever I make a new material or something like that I usually use the generate from template option because you wouldn't normally need to make a new texture for just materials but most of the time it's inaccurate like the armor, tools, and stone so I always just end up making the texture in paint.net. In the next update they should make it so that all the textures match what it is in the vanilla game, and also there are no templates for the diamond/iron/coal etc. ore overlay the closest to it is ore8 or ore10 but it's still not really clost to it at all so that should also be in the update. And finally, the colors for the "generate from template" option should be more saturated because even if you choose 255, 0, 0 (the brightest red) it looks desaturated, and I know you can use the "lock saturation" check but sometimes that could make the texture look weird like making the shading a lot darker than it's supposed to be and making it different from the actual color. That's all I could think of for "generate from template", hopefully some of these, if not all, get into MCreator
The problem is, these WERE in MCreator, but then got replaced by original textures because of copyright.
But some textures are accurate how come they didn't get replaced?
Which ones?
You should probably just add in more templates from the actual Minecraft assets folder as I did, I now have access to every Minecraft texture that is accurate to how they are now.
