Every time I try to run a mod, Forge crashes, and it says "Execution failed for task ':runclient'. I had successfully run one of these mods before, and literally nothing had been changed in my mod the first few times this happened. I should mention that I'm using the Mac version. How can I fix this?
You can find solutions to similar problems in the knowledge base: https://mcreator.net/support/knowledgebase
One of the most successful methods for compile errors without workspace changes is deleting the gradle cache folder (I'm sure there is a tutorial for that in the KB)
If none of those methods work, post the entire console output to a website like pastebin and share the url here.
I checked responses to a few other people with similar issues, and they said to go to .mcreator > gradle > caches. In the gradle folder, there is only a "wrapper" folder, containing a jar file and a properties file.
Great news! I had to restart my computer earlier today, and it uninstalled MCreator 2021.1 (which I installed after the problems began, hoping the new version would fix them). I reinstalled it just now, got my workspaces ready, and... it crashed while loading again. However, this time a notification came up saying I should just try to run it again, and it actually worked! It kind of worked out on its own, but thanks for your help!
and within half an hour it's crashing again, back to square one.
