Import Issue

So I recently started to use mcreator at a computer I no longer have. I exported the file onto a usb stick. I went home to my computer with mcreator installed and tried to import the zip file, when I clicked on the file and tried to open it into a new workspace I created, I got the following error: "You can not make a workspace inside workspaces root folder. Make a subdirectory here first!" Please help
