So I was working on an Iceologer for my modpack and I wanted it to have an attack that makes it hover ice over your head and then drop which makes you take damage and get a slowness/freezing effect.
you could try by making it shoot ranged items that is invisible and when it hits a living entity, spawn a Falling Block of ice with commands.
