I have made a horseshoe crab mob and I want it to walk on the ocean floor. I have been able to do this by making a land creature and making it imune to drowning. The only problem is that it keeps jumping out of the water. How can I keep it walking on the ocean floor but stop it from leaving the water?
Remove "Float in water" from the crab's AI
removing float in water do not afffect anything now on water mobs, i remove them and they keep floating, even Without Swim goal too, i really dont understand why mojang makes our lives this hard since WE, the modders, keep this game alive alone, mojang dont help at all.. anyway... idk how to set my starfishes now, they float is so lame, if i set to non-water entity (regular entity) they DO NOT spawn on water anymore... so lame man how come 4 years later the game is worst than before?
I figured this out a while ago, what I did is a constant procedure in the entity tick that applies a negative motion 7 vector causing it to sink/fall extremely fast. making a water entity and doing this will make it "walk" on the ocean floor, however, I'm uncertain about how to create an entity that can move underwater and on land.
