Me and my friends really wanted to make our own mod for a new minecraft playthrough, I've been wanting to add a custom biome to my new made dimension.
I made the blocks for it and everything but it kept asking me to add the tag "forge:dirt". After a while of headscratching and butting my head against the wall I found it, so I added the tag to the blocks except it's STILL asking me to give them the tag. I've restarted MCreator and the issue still persisted.
It's been infuriating me a lot, can anybody please try to tell me what went wrong?
*no response* wow you guys are so helpful
Don't think that people will anwser within the hour,
It always says that on the biome page it's not an error nor a warning, it's simply a suggestion.
Then the question is:
Why does it refuse to work? I've did all the requirements.
This biome would be in a dimension called "The Tainted".
If I open up a portal and try to go through then nothing happens, if any other entity goes through then the game crashes.
Also, when I make it generate in the overworld, my game crashed as soon as I try to make a new world.
After messing around for about 4 hours straight I've found the solution, MCreator simply refuses to generate certain tree types...
This kinda sucks...
I now have 3 working biomes,
-The Tainted Plains
-The Tainted Forest
-The Soulless Valley
The problem now is: Trees won't generate, but I think that has been solved elsewher
