Binding an Item to a Player

I need help, I am trying to make a mod where there are crystals that give powers to player through keybinding. I have the keybinding part figured out but I want the crystals to be bound to the player (they cannot leave the players inventory, like keepinventory but you cant drop the item either) plz help.
