I have a problem with setting up the arrows

Hello, I'm creating a vanilla-style mod and I want to add an arrow that, when hit by a block or creature, started the procedure, but I didn't find information on how to do it, so I have to ask for help from knowledgeable people. 

P.S. I would like to add an arrow, not a new bow
