MCreator keeps corrupting for no reason

Hi.

I was trying to make space mods but then one of them got corrupted for no reason. I clicked the close workspace on the top left so there was no way it was because it unexpectedly crashed. I made a new one but it also got corrupted after a few days of developing. I went to the backups folder but it was empty. 

If you need any more info or if you have a possible solution, please reply.
