My idea is add in procedure "blocks" to control blockstates like moisture for adapting custom farmland to vanilla crops or anything which use vanilla blockstates to work but can't because of this ( in this situation wheat will decay when block will update because the game don't know the custom farmland is a valid block to grow on )
I believe you can do this using variables
