I agree with Noii. Please, if it's not too big a change, separate Geckolib into its own plugin.

i would recommend splitting geckolib into its own plugin alone, the issue im having is a lot of these overlap with existing plugins that are updated, but there is no solo-geckolib plugin anymore

and speaking of problems, everyone on version 2025.2 is giving the "fg" error.

This is not the only plugin that has this idea of multiple APIs, we have the example "Creating addons support" which must also be hell to do any update.

Off topic but, why does Dg_dragon hate this so much? It's not his plugin and he keeps on calling it an "aberration with its days numbered" like dude it's just a bundle of addons that were abandoned leave the poor dude alone :/, anyways nice plugin, I have been trying to use the new mcreator animation system since it might be a lil less buggy than geckolib but still a good addon.

I have nothing against the creator, but rather the way he made this plugin, multiple APIs, it may seem good, but when the subject is related to the Java plugin, it gets much more complicated. For example, if he wants to fix something, or change some element, he can break others, honestly, as a user this doesn't change anything, the operation continues to be the same, but as a developer it is basically, slaving yourself, doing this.

NerdyPuzzle abandoned geckolib due to its high complexity. I checked the source code, and it's truly disorganized, making it difficult to make any adjustments.
Now, adding other code that has nothing to do with geckolib creates a real mess, which will only waste more time organizing than actually focusing on what's needed.
You have to be a plugin developer to understand my opinion.

Maybe you're right about that. But as they say, the eyes are afraid, but the hands do. In any case, this plugin creator was probably considering whether to do something like this. And if he has already done this and is updating, at least it means that he is a professional in his field, or he has not broken anything yet.
But u know this plugins it's good for modders!

He has reasons, I have messed up a few times, but that isn't going to stop me. I've took a lot of suggestions and feedback and im redoing the plugin another time, except it is going to be separate now.

I doubt you have any plans to, and I wouldn't blame you, but do you have any plans to backport to 2024.4 or 1.21.1 in any capacity?

The JEI blocks in procedures don't display the custom recipes in the selection list. Using the 1.20.1 forge mod generator.

Wait, so, this keeps all the listed plugins up to date ? Even those that HAVEN'T updated to 2025.2 like Curios ??
