Hi, I have tried to make a procedure that will place a mushroom on top of a block every now and again, to do this i created a local variable "timer" however it doesn't seem to want to work. Could i have some help with this,

You need to use global variable for this, not local. Local means variable that is local per procedure execution, so there get reset each time.
