my mcreator workspace cannot be opened!!!

Issue description

i tried to open the workspace but, it was keep on loading and loading and it never opened.one time a box came stating that your workspace have been corrupted or check the backups,but even though i checked the backups and renamed the file to .mcreator,but it is not working. i had so many mod elements in that. please help me get my workspace back.so, please help me!!!

If you do not have backup early enough you might be out of luck, sorry :(

Try with earlier backups if it works, otherwise, you might be out of luck. Make sure to give it a proper name too.
