Delete vanilla-original recipes

I would know if there is some way to remove vanilla-original recipe, and if it's not possible to request that the feature is added.

You can do this by making recipe in the vanilla namespace with the same name as vanilla one and set result or input to eg. air block.

This seems to only work for certain recipes for me? I was able to remove diamond helmet and boots but not the other pieces. I was also unable to remove stone swords and shovels, whilst being able to remove stone pickaxes, axes and hoes. Is there a way I can solve this? It's very important that the original recipes don't work in my mod.
