my JSON 3D models won't work for tools

Whenever i try to import JSON Models for tools, it just ends up as the black and pink placeholder block. this only happens when i do it with tools, and it works fine when i import the models as blocks. 

(i also use MrCrayfish's model tool)

Try Re-Making the model, the textures UV must be in the right place. Re-make the tool, delete the previous Json and element and try again,  if you use a custom model, the default tool texture should be something random you put in, not blank.

If the default which actually isn't used is blank, it won't work.
