It is very common that when a person is making a mod, something catches their eye and after a period of time, they cancel making the mod because of losing interest in it. I see a ton of modders that still work on their mods this day, but how?
Because it's exciting to them?
It is normal to lose interest in a project. It sometimes happens to me too. I think it depends on the inspiration.
But then there are those moments when I'm playing Minecraft and I think "What if there was this feature...? LET ME ADD IT" XD
Honestly, I've had to take several breaks from modding before. Sometimes the repitition of it all can make get boring. I usually with my mod (it's biomes) get inspired by taking walks or going on hikes. I like to re-surround myself with my original inspirations. I've been developing my mod for almost 3-4 years now so...
I used to make a mod but had make it like tree times then lost intrest
