Sounds don't play while in custom GUI.

I want to have buttons in a GUI that play a sound when clicked but the sound never plays. I can play the sound if I trigger the procedure other ways and the button is linked to the procedure properly .

 

Does anyone know the problem?

 

The GUI in-game. (ignore the keyboard image and top 5 buttons cause they do their jobs fine)
