Hi, I need help. I have been making mobs and for some reason they are not generating well. I explain, I have seen in forums that the cow has a spawning number of 8 ... because I made a wild boar with 520 !! and it is generated even rarer than cows !! I don't know how to make them generate during the day like a normal animal ...
and I have also created a new species of demihumans who are the orcs and I want them to be generated with a normal frequency by all the plains but even with a 220 and with the restriction of only going out in that biome they do not appear. I await your responses.
With those who said the parameters I meant this. (so they understand better)
https://mcreator.net/wiki/mob-spawning-parameters
..Use the creature spawn type.
And also, 10 is normal for a creature, and 100 is normal for a monster.
If the problem is that I already have him spawning as a creature and even with high numbers and they appear very rarely ...
What dimension(s)/biome(s) is it set to spawn in?
Also, if the hitbox is too big, it will require a that amount of space to spawn in, so if it is a dense forest, it wouldn't spawn.
both the boar and the orc are in the same biomes. which would be plains, forest, birch_forest, taiga, savanna, etc. they are not very big, the boar would be a little bigger than a minecraft pig and the orc is a little bigger than the player (around 1 to 2 blocks bigger). space would say that is not the problem, I suppose you will have to see that there are too many types of creatures that can appear in those biomes in minecraft (cows, pigs, horses, etc) so if I add mine and the probabilities of they appear they become rare. I would not know if there is a specific solution to this problem since it is impossible to lower the appearance rate of the cows, pigs or horses of minecraft itself (at least without doing programming that I do not understand anything).
