Help to create an entity that can be mounted by mobs.

I'm developing a vehicle mod inspired by the work Mr. Crayfish gave us years ago.

I'm currently working on implementing a cart that can carry animals.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to make an entity rideable by other mobs?
