Here is a screenshot of what's going on : https://prnt.sc/t57vf7
My armor looks awesome in the inventory but it looks completely different when worn. How can i make my worn armor texture look like my inventory armor texture? (Just got this program a couple days ago and have zero coding/modding experience)
I'd REALLY appreciate some help, i'm trying to learn as much as i can.
What do you mean? The armour in your picture looks fine.
When i wear the armor it just looks like plain armor, it's suppose to look like the armor in my inventory.
Yes. You need to edit the skin (Actual Armor texture) of the armor. This should be under the "textures for armor" near your other textures (In other words, under resources). If you lose track of which part of the skin is which part of the armor, you can use the regular one and it will show you which parts of it is for the leggings, boots, chestplate, etc.
Cool thanks! Is there a simple way of replacing the textures so i don't have to take a long time recreating them?
Use Novaskin to make both layers of the armor then import both layer 1 and layer 2
(layer 1 is the mapping for helmet, chestplate and boots while layer 2 is for leggings)
Yeah, that's a pretty good idea
