Baby mobs help

hello! bit new here so bear with me!

so I know having baby mobs spawn when you breed 2 creatures is not in the base mcreator, but I was wondering if anyone had links tutorial on how to do it, or help from someone who has done it before? I have the adult and child model, and though I had a general idea on how to do it (using the ticks and despawning) but I don't think I fully understand it haha
