[Help][MCreator 2020.2]

I created a model of a bipedal Villager, but since it is a custom model, I am having some issues with getting it to hold items. I much rather avoid having to redesign the model with it holding the item in Tabula. So questioning if anyone found the ability to allow custom models to hold items or not. Or if there is public code you can suggest for me to look at to program onto my model.
