Hello everyone, I know now that we are looking to use Techne because it is a great software that can create a date mob ect.
But the site is broken ...

I use BlockBench for custom model, it's WAY BETTER than Techne
But you can't really use it for mob models and Techne doesn't allow you to create objects, smaller than a pixel. :/
No We can make mob models with! We can create java model/json/obj
Isn't there a size limit for models?
The size of a model is a 16x16 BUT it can pass through and a little part go on another block

Hi, I put this installation through virustotal, and it threw up a few flags. any way I could just get the repo? I can't find it anywhere (I'm on mac but using Wine so the creator button won't work
Is this safe? It shows me a warning on my computer that it isn't a safe download... Should I continue?
The thing is that Techne is fake and doesn't even try to export .java models. This application sucks and needs improvements. I suggest using Blockbench.
Techne is many years outdated, and for those who don't want to use BlockBench or wish for a similar experience to Techne, I suggest Tabula. It's a mod for Minecraft that adds a model making program into the game, which is accessible through the title screen or an Item obtainable in survival mode. It's almost exactly like Techne with a few small differences and also some new features that Techne doesn't have. Tabula does require another mod, iChunUtil, to be installed in order to work. Overall, If you're still using Techne because you don't want to use Blockbench, give Tabula a try.
