Topic category: Help with MCreator software
I have always dreamt of modding Minecraft for a very long time. And now I am able to, except for the fact that there are a lot of features that the program will not let me alter, saying "not supported" or something related to procedures. I feel shafted. I see people doing things that the version I am using is not allowing. Could anyone help out?

You've got to give us more information in order to help you. What do you mean "not supported"? What version of MCreator are you using, and what generator are you trying to create with?
If you use bedrock edition, this is normal. There is a warning for this too when creating bedrock workspace.
Similar Fabric generator will not support all the features atm.
I trying to make mods.... So you can create actual mods for bedrock, but just limited to some features? How do I convert my workspace to java? I have spent a lot of time working on the project I have and I would really love it if I did not lose it all ^_^
Also I have the version given in the Download tap, 2020.4
Bedrock Edition addons and Java Edition mods are completely diffrent things, unfortunetly you can't convert them to each other.
Please send screenshots. I, (and others), may not be able to provide you with valuable information if you don't send screenshots, or explain it better. Also, what NOYB said, Bedrock Edition does NOT have mods, those are addons, entirely different things. If you want to make a Java mod, please create a new workspace and select "1.14 Java Edition Modification" or "1.15.2 Java Edition Modification."
I don't know how to take screenshots of what I am experiencing. But you were right, it was because it was set to bedrock. And it won't allow me to change the option to Java. Could I move all my textures into my Java workspace folder by any chance?
Yes you can, you just need to search into your mod folder, where the textures are saved.
