Texture Overlapping With Itself upon Gif Import

Hi, sorry if this has already been reported. I looked through the first few pages in forums and couldn't find the topic, and admittedly I kind of gave up at that point, so here we are.

The problem is that, when I go to import an animated texture from a preexisting GIF file, the frames seem to overlap onto the previous ones. For example, if I wanted to make a water droplet falling, instead of one singular dot making its way down the screen, a long line would form showing where it goes, but not getting rid of the color left behind from the places that it was. Sorry if that wasn't a good example.

Is this intentional or is there an available workaround other than manually editing each frame from the program itself?

Any help is appreciated -- thanks!

First of all, thank you for…

First of all, thank you for your correct grammar and spelling, I like it when people do that (not many posts here do).

Second of all, GIFs are very buggy in MCreator. I would recommend extracting the frames, then making a Vanilla-style animation image (MCreator calls these Animation Strips) with it. If you don't know how to do this, host the image on Imgur or something and give me a link, I can do it for you.
