Topic category: Help with Minecraft modding (Java Edition)
I imported an OBJ+MTL 3D model 3x3x3 blocks big into MCreator but when I tested it, it just placed a black and pink block.
How do I get this to work?

Use JSON models instead. I don't think Minecraft was ever supposed to use OBJ models, no idea how MCreator did it.
Anyways, OBJ models are very, very, very buggy, so if you ever have a custom model question that involves them, the answer's almost always gonna be "because it's an OBJ."
