How to make a mob be rideable while having a connected GUI?

I'm making a new boat in my mod and it has to be rideable, but its also supposed to have a GUI that allows upgrades to installed. However, connecting the GUI to the boat causes it to also automatically open on right-click and this conflicts with right-clicking to enter the boat. Is there a way to fix this?

Add to it where it will only work when crouching.  That should work fine.
