Choosing enchants for items

All I really need to know is how to make items enchantable with certain enchants. I want the item I made to be able to have unbreaking and mending. The item is able to get unbreaking by default but how do I make it so it can get other enchants? I'm not wanting to make a new enchant or anything, just wondering how to make my item be able to have some vanilla ones.
