Help with Ore and Biome Generation [Bedrock]

I have gotten pretty much everything to work with my Bedrock edition add-on, but I am having problems getting the ores and biomes to generate. I have searched tens of thousands of blocks for my biomes but I haven't found them, and the ores do not generate in caves. Is this a bug right now, or is there something I am missing? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
