The GeckoLib plugin is finally here!
 

Now, you too can also use the power of GeckoLib in your own custom mobs to have smooth and fluid animations, without the need for code! All you need to do is simply install the plugin, create your mob, and the rest will be done for you!

This plugin allows you to add the GeckoLib API to your mod, and use Procedures to make the mob of your choice move! To add the API, go in your workspace to Workspace Settings, then press on "External APIs", and apply `GeckoLib API`

Important Note: To add the animations, place the json file that was exported from BlockBench in your assets folder, under your mod ID, in your animations folder like this: `assets/modid/animations/myAnimations.json`

How do I export in .java format? It always exports in .json format.

I think that will never happen, the new Gecko lib version is Kommplet new and it is impossible to add it in Mcreator!
use Custom coding for you Animations and Gecko lib is not more 1.16.4 Supported (2.0 version)

So, is the plugin compatible with 2020.5 or the snapshot EAP 2020.5.39514? Because I seem to run into issues with either. Former doesn't seem to play animations (that may be user error, idk) and the latter doesn't load the procedures at all.

Is there a tutorial on how to work this, I've been trying for hours and have no clue as to how to add a curios item

hi, well its need procedure thats stop current animation, so people can easy switch from one animation to another one, i try make entity with 2 animations one is idle other one i moving and i will be realy happy if i can stop animation and start other one :D

or you set the animation to loop false and make a timer! so is it trash, sry but when the plugin is in future not fixed is this a bad plugin(no hate!)
