The second picture is my attempt. It said to use this 6x6x6 block check from the template library, which I did. But mine looks totally different and I cant change any of the "sx" or smth like that. If you know what I can do please help. Thanks
Using the 'leaves' block base when making a block would do this automatically. You do not need a procedure to make the leaves decay, however you do need a tag to make your logs stop leaf decay
Create a tag called whatever you want (it doesn't matter), then set the registry name to 'logs', the namespace to 'minecraft' and tag type to 'blocks'. Then put as many of your logs that you have made in the elements.
I did that but when the structure naturally spawns the leaves decay
