Help me with some things for my mod!

Hello Guys!

 I want to make my mod work with Tinker's Construct Because I'm adding a lot of ores But The Problem is that I don't know how I can make it work I also researched a lot on the Internet but I didn't found anything that can help me! But really please guys help me I want to make my mod work with Tinker's Construct

The other thing that I don't know is how I can make an item that opens a GUI and gives a player a random item like a weapon, armor, etc. I'm done with the GUI but I cannot get the procedure to work!
