Import 1.7.9 mcreator workspace to 2020.5 workspace

I have a mod I've been working on for 3 years and its currently being worked on MCreator 1.7.9

I exported the mod to a zip and tried to import it to MCreator 2020.5 for cool new functions and features but the problem is once i create an empty directory it will say that it is not a vaild sharable zip. file

What do I do?
