I can't get 2 plants close together

Premise: I searched the forum for a long time and couldn't find a duplicate thread. In the event that I have not conducted the research well, in accordance with the established terms, the thread may be closed, however I would be happy if before closure I was given the link to the duplicate thread so that I can find an answer to my question.

Discussion topic description: I'm making a plant that grows automatically up to a maximum height of 4. I encounter a problem and I want to understand if it is caused by me, or by a bug in the MCreator software (being new I need help). I show you the settings below:

Visual and type

Properties

Triggers

Generation

If I put two plants next to each other using the same plant drop I can put them. If I use the seeds of the plant I can't. I will show you the seeds as programmed.

SeedActionClick

As you can see when I click with the seeds on a specific block I generate the plant. As soon as this happens, the possible neighboring plant is destroyed. This does not happen if instead I place the plant without seeds, then place itself. I've tried using the seeds near plants like bamboo canes or other growable plants but they don't get destroyed. It only destroys the neighboring plant identical to it.

In another check I tried to replace the seed procedure and made that instead of generating the plant, it generates a building block. The neighboring plant did not break.

I see where the problem lies…

I see where the problem lies. I had created a modified ground block. I saw that the plant cannot grow on a block that is not dirt. How can I grow the plant on a block that is not dirt?
