You have probably installed over existing version. Delete all MCreator installation files and then do a clean install

Run with mcreator.bat and provide terminal contents when it hangs

sorry but where is the archive .bat?
In my case the 'mcreator.bat' file is in the program's directory:
"C:\Program Files\Pylo\MCreator2021-1"
there is not
