Can I put a link to a website of my own when I upload a mod or is it against the mcreator regulations?

I am learning HTML and my mod contains a lot of stuff, thus I would like to create my own website and put all the info about my mod (except the basic description)in there, so I want to put a link to it when I upload the mod. Am I free to do that or do I have to break down all the mod's elements in the mcreator's mod page? Also, can I upload a 1.12.2 mod? I am not sure but I think Mcreator doesn't support this version anymore. Thanks for any answer.
