im wanted to try and make a prone mod since my friend ask if i could try and make one.
i wanted to do a procedure that when i preced a button the player would make the "swim" animation but i dont know where to start on how to make that prodecure can someone pls give me and idea on how i can make it??
the mod is for 1.16.5

Great idea, I wonder if you make an invisible fluid block and make it stuck to the player with an action key. Maybe that will put the player into a prone position. I have been thinking about how to attached something invisible to the player for a good month now.
This is outside the box thinking that I like...

i when i said swim is more like when you close a trap door and you are put in a prone possision
My point is you may have to trick MC into thinking your swimming if that is your approach.
not realy my approach i just want to be in the layed down possition
