I made stairs out of a block with my own textures, but in the game they appear darkened. It's the same with the fence and the wall. How to solve this problem?

Are you using shaders or something like that? because that could mess it up depending on the shader.
I do not use any shaders or modifications to change the graphics. mcreator 2020.5
I'm having this exact same problem, i can't find any possible fix, can anyone help?
I'm using the default fence and fence gate models.
It also turns grass beneath it into dirt.
Finally found a fix for this, simply set the "Light opacity" in your block settings to 0.
